Phu Ly City is implementing the North-South railway overpass project, connecting Le Duan Street with National Highway 1A and Chau Son Bridge, facilitating convenient transportation and reducing traffic congestion at the North-South railway intersection and road area.
In addition, the Liem Chinh Bridge Phase 2 project is expected to be completed and put into operation in 2025, enhancing connectivity between sub-regions across the Chau River, meeting the increasing transportation demand as the 68m-wide road opens fully from Duy Tien Town to Phu Ly City and Thanh Liem District.
The Phu Thu interchange is also considered a key project; once completed, it will create additional connecting branches, facilitating East-West traffic flow and the Beltway 5 route, which is expected to pass through 8 localities and be constructed before 2027, promoting trade for the entire region in general and Ha Nam Province in particular.
By choosing to develop transportation infrastructure as a foundation, Ha Nam is creating favorable conditions to seize investment opportunities. In 2023, Ha Nam attracted 49 new investment projects, including 33 FDI projects. This demonstrates the success of the transportation infrastructure development strategy in enhancing the province's appeal to domestic and foreign investors.
