Many people often confuse between a logistics center and an industrial warehouse, believing they are similar concepts that can be interchangeable. However, they can be differentiated based on their structure and purpose of use.

✅In simple terms, an industrial warehouse is primarily built for storing goods and materials across industries, while a logistics center serves primarily for distribution. Therefore, industrial warehouses tend to have larger spaces compared to logistics centers.

✅Industrial warehouses are structured with key areas such as management zones, manufacturing spaces, storage areas, sales zones, parking areas, waste processing zones, among others. Conversely, logistics centers consist of three main areas: loading/unloading areas, storage areas, and sorting areas.

✅Lastly, in terms of functionality, industrial warehouses cater to multiple stages and personnel within a business, involving production machinery, loading equipment, materials, and tools. On the other hand, logistics centers aim to mitigate and address errors during the transition between production stages until the products reach the end consumers.
