WESTERN PACIFIC GROUP OFFICIALLY LAUNCHES “RUN FOR CHILDREN 2026” CHARITY RUN AT YEN PHONG II-A INDUSTRIAL PARK

RUN FOR CHILDREN 2026 is one of the meaningful initiatives marking the 20th anniversary of Western Pacific Group (September 7, 2006 - September 7, 2026).

Under the theme “20 Years of Dedication - Empowering the Future,” RUN FOR CHILDREN 2026 is more than a community sporting event. It brings people together through running while reflecting Western Pacific Group’s commitment to social responsibility. The event also supports the “Empowering the Future” Scholarship Program, dedicated to local students from disadvantaged backgrounds who have demonstrated perseverance and strong academic performance.

RUN FOR CHILDREN 2026 - A Community Milestone in Our 20-Year Journey

Over the past two decades, Western Pacific Group has steadily expanded its Logistics Industrial Cluster (LIC) ecosystem, while building lasting relationships with customers, partners and local communities across the areas where we operate.

As we approach our 20th anniversary, Western Pacific Group has chosen a simple yet meaningful way to bring together those who have been part of this journey: to run together and create positive value for the community.

Held for the first time at Yen Phong II-A Industrial Park, RUN FOR CHILDREN 2026 is expected to welcome more than 200 runners, including customers, partners, secondary investors, members of the business community, representatives of regulatory authorities and business associations, as well as Western Pacific Group employees.

Along the 4 km course within the industrial park, participants will not only enjoy an active morning together but also have the opportunity to experience the environment and infrastructure of Yen Phong II-A Industrial Park – one of the key projects within Western Pacific Group’s ecosystem.

“Empowering the Future” Scholarship Program

For every runner who completes the 4 km course, Western Pacific Group will contribute VND 2,000,000 to the “Empowering the Future” Scholarship Program.

Through this initiative, 200 scholarships will be awarded to local students from disadvantaged backgrounds who have achieved strong academic results, providing practical support and encouragement as they begin the new school year.

At RUN FOR CHILDREN 2026, completing the course therefore means more than simply crossing the finish line. Every BIB, every step along the course and every finisher helps create greater educational opportunities for the next generation.

This is also how Western Pacific Group has chosen to mark its 20-year journey – by turning the progress we have made as a business into meaningful steps forward for the community.

  • Venue: Yen Phong II-A Industrial Park, Tam Giang Commune, Bac Ninh Province
  • Distance: 4 km community run
  • Expected Participation: 200+ runners
  • Participants: Customers, partners, secondary investors, members of the business community, representatives of regulatory authorities and business associations, Western Pacific Group employees, and invited guests
  • Participation Fee: Free of charge

Race Awards and Gifts

Participants will take on the 4 km course with opportunities to receive awards in both individual and organizational categories.

For the Men’s and Women’s categories, the top finishers will receive:

• 1st Prize: VND 5,000,000
• 2nd Prize: VND 3,000,000
• 3rd Prize: VND 2,000,000

The Organizing Committee will also recognize the organization or company with outstanding runner participation, along with lucky draw gifts for participating runners.

Each registered runner who takes part in the event will receive an official RUN FOR CHILDREN 2026 Race Kit, including a running shirt, BIB, drawstring bag and event items. Runners who complete the course will also receive a commemorative medal to mark their participation in the inaugural edition.

Beyond the awards, RUN FOR CHILDREN 2026 aims to create a shared space where customers, partners, the business community and Western Pacific Group employees can stay active, connect with one another and come together for a meaningful cause.

The First Edition - The Beginning of a Longer Journey

RUN FOR CHILDREN 2026 marks the inaugural edition of the event, and Western Pacific Group hopes it will become the beginning of a community initiative that continues in the years ahead.

Our 20-year journey has been shaped by many steps forward. At RUN FOR CHILDREN 2026, those steps take on a different meaning – bringing us closer to the community and helping create opportunities for the next generation.

From a 4 km run to scholarships presented at the beginning of the new school year, Western Pacific Group hopes to work alongside our customers, partners and community to turn social responsibility into practical action and create positive values that can be shared and carried forward.
