Western Pacific Expands LIC Ecosystem in Tandem with Sustainable Development Goals in Vietnam's Industrial Parks

Localities and infrastructure developers like Western Pacific are intensifying infrastructure upgrades alongside implementing effective policies to attract new investors.

Developing the Logistics Industrial Cluster (LIC) Model

Established since 2006, with nearly 20 years of experience in the logistics industry and a deep understanding of both domestic market and international trends, Western Pacific has emerged as a pioneering entity in constructing, managing, and operating industrial park and logistics infrastructure under the Logistics Industrial Cluster (LIC) model, including industrial parks, ports, logistics centers, customs warehouses, e-commerce warehouses, etc.

With the comprehensiveness and coherence in infrastructure, the LIC model is recognized to bring about high efficiency in production and business activities by maximizing time, energy, and cost savings in logistics operations. While the transportation infrastructure development speed in Vietnam has yet to meet the rapid pace of logistics activities, the LIC model developed by Western Pacific will be an effective solution to address infrastructure constraints, optimize costs by reducing fuel and time for transportation activities, and contribute to environmental protection.

Currently, in addition to the Yen Phong II-A Industrial Park located at the intersection of the Hanoi - Thai Nguyen expressway and National Highway 18 in Bac Ninh province, Western Pacific is continuing to expand the LIC ecosystem with multiple projects in key provinces and cities such as Ha Nam, Bac Giang, Ho Chi Minh City, aiming to enhance value for customers and investors.

Promoting sustainable development in industrial parks

To attract international investors and keep up with the trends of the times, sustainable development is becoming an essential trend for Vietnamese enterprises. Western Pacific is also actively involved in developing and constructing projects within the LIC ecosystem, focusing not only on synchronized infrastructure but also on environmental protection and socio-economic development in the localities where projects are implemented.

Western Pacific has been enhancing the optimization of energy usage by partnering with the Japanese corporation Yoshida Kaiun to develop a solar-powered warehouse system at the Pacific Japan Logistics Center in Binh Duong, as well as implementing solar energy usage in the Yen Phong II-A Industrial Park. Additionally, the industrial park and cluster projects within Western Pacific's LIC ecosystem ensure suitable green space in planning and develop advanced wastewater treatment systems according to national standards for wastewater treatment, environmental protection, and local community health.
