Bac Ninh identifies supporting industries as a key driver in its strategy for sustainable development and enhancing the competitiveness of the province’s core industries.
🔹 Contribution to Economic Growth: According to the Bac Ninh Department of Industry and Trade, since 2015, supporting industries have become a vital link in the province’s economic growth chain, not only driving the main industries towards modernization and sustainability but also fostering strong connections between domestic and foreign-invested enterprises.
🔹 Strong Development Scale: Bac Ninh currently has around 500 supporting industry businesses involved in the supply chain, accounting for 10.1% of the businesses in the processing and manufacturing sector. These companies primarily operate in fields such as electronic product assembly, mechanics, high-tech food and beverage production, meeting the demand for the province's key industries.
🔹 Development Promotion Policies: To maximize the potential and advantages of the supporting industry sector, Bac Ninh has introduced numerous incentive policies. These policies focus especially on attracting investment and encouraging high-tech businesses, both domestic and foreign, including Samsung, Canon, Foxconn, Amkor, Foster, and Goertek, creating momentum for growth.
By 2030, Bac Ninh aims to become a modern, high-tech industrial city, with supporting industries remaining a priority sector.
