The investment appeal of Ha Nam is reflected in the figures on foreign direct investment (FDI), positioning Ha Nam as a key destination for the "wave" of investment shifts.

According to the Ha Nam Department of Planning and Investment, since the beginning of 2024, the province has granted licenses for 16 new FDI projects (an increase of 6.7% compared to the same period in 2023), with a total registered capital of $98.2 million. Additionally, 26 projects have had their investment capital increased, with a total additional investment of $320.9 million (a rise of 295.7%).

Ha Nam currently has eight operational industrial parks, hosting 401 FDI projects with a total investment capital of $6.49 billion. South Korea leads in the number of projects with 128, followed by Japan with 108 projects. Taiwan ranks third with 52 projects but holds the top position in total investment capital.

The presence of large-scale projects from multinational corporations not only drives economic growth, shifts the economic structure, and creates jobs but also initiates a new wave of investment in Ha Nam.

Ha Nam is entering a new era of strategic collaboration with investors from the United States, China, Japan, South Korea, and Europe through recently organized international investment promotion conferences.
